Recent and remote memories

Complaints of poor memory for events prior and post cerebral insult are common after traumatic brain injury and various neurological conditions. I intend to investigate the interactions between distinct memory regions in the human brain and remote memory function. This may be achieved through use of both individually tailored tests of remote memory and existing neuropsychological measures, in single case and group studies.
