Thesis Details

Maturation of event-related potentials across adolescence.

The aim of my PhD project is to understand how auditory and visual ERPs develop through adolescence. To detect auditory and visual processing impairment at different ages or to detect when an auditory or visual processing impaired has been successfully treated using event-related potentials (ERPs), we need to know what normal auditory ERPs or visual ERPs look like at different ages. We are measuring auditory and visual ERPs in children and young adults aged 10-18 years.
