Cognitive rehabilitation of attention deficits in people with traumatic brain injuries.

The ultimate goal of this research is to contribute to our understanding of the damaged brain and provide clinically viable improvements to the current treatment programs available to people with traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). This will be achieved by addressing the following aims: - To assess the prevalence and nature of cognitive rehabilitation in NSW; - To investigate video-games-based cognitive rehabilitation in improving cognitive functioning of TBI patients; - Examine what factors reduce/enhance the effectiveness of games-based rehabilitation.
