Face processing in typical and congenitally prosopagnosic adults: Behavioural and neuroimaging investigations.

People with congenital prosopagnosia find it difficult to recognize the faces of other people despite the absence of neurological and psychological disorders. My research has shown that some people with congenital prosopagnosia show covert (or implicit) recognition of faces that they cannot overtly recognize. I am also investigating the neural correlates of face recognition impairments using Magnetoencephalography (MEG) and Event Related Potentials (ERPs).
