Visual consciousness & selective attention.

The primary purpose of this research project is to characterise the nature of visual consciousness, and to investigate the role that selective attention plays in shaping this. Specifically, it aims to clarify the relation between a person?s state of attention towards a visual stimulus, and their subsequent conscious experience of it, their performance in response to it, and their later recall for the experience.
