I also have a profile at the ARC Centre for Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders.

Profile

I have been at the Department of Psychology at Macquarie University since 1991. At MACCS, I was involved in the language project. In particular, my research has been concerned with the nature and the role of phonology used in visual word recognition.
My research interests are in cognitive psychology in general, and I have worked on topics including implicit memory, cross-linguistic differences in word recognition (Japanese vs. English), and unconscious processes.
