I also have a profile at the ARC Centre for Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders.

Profile

I'm interested in how we develop a sense of controlling our actions and thoughts. Currently I'm exploring similarities and differences between various contexts where sense of agency seems reduced. To do this I'm investigating psychiatric symptoms of disturbed control, states of flow in expertise, hypnotic suggestions and body representation in virtual reality. From this work I hope to better understand the cognitive basis of sense of agency. I'm also part of a cross-disciplinary team working on a project investigating meditation and auditory attention.
