I also have a profile at the ARC Centre for Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders.

Profile

I am a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, completing my undergraduate degree in Applied Science, Speech Pathology in 1978. I have worked clinically for many years with adults with aphasia. Over the last ten years I have pursued my special interest in progressive aphasias, completing a Masters of Applied Science at the University of Sydney under the supervision of Professor Leanne Togher and Dr Karen Croot in 2015.

I have commenced my PhD in 2016 under the supervision of Professor Lyndsey Nickels. My current research continues to investigate progressive aphasias.

Thesis Details

Enhancing communicative effectiveness and satisfaction between people with primary progressive aphasia and their communication partner.
