High Performance Computing Facility

The High Performance Computing facility is an 19 node (37 CPU, 222-core) beowulf cluster available to Cognitive Science researchers to run computationally intensive models.

Cluster technical details

The management/login node is a single-CPU, 6-core server running Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The compute nodes are powered by dual 6-core Xeon processors with 4GB RAM and 250GB of storage and run CentOS Linux.

A gigabit ethernet switch is used for the interconnect as well as the management network.
